Today we took a bittersweet last venture to East Mill Bakery. It was an excellent end to our ice cream extravaganza. We hope you enjoyed joining us on this journey.
Let's delve into the atmosphere and service. We were greeted by beautiful floral arrangements in old fashioned milk jugs to pay homage to the milk house. (its previous title, go kine!!!) Then as soon as we stepped in our noses were filled with a pleasant aroma. The interior was relaxing and cute. We thought the complimentary lemon and strawberry water was a nice touch.
Now onto the part that you've all been waiting for, the ice cream! We each only sampled one flavor today, and they are *drum roll* located in the upper right corner... PECAN TOFFEE CARAMEL STUFF! And second, but by no means less important... COOKIES AND CREAM! (there were no given names) All of the ice cream seemed to be homemade.
Pecan toffee caramel stuff: This flavor was a delightful blend of caramel pecan and toffee flavors, evenly distributed. In addition to the ice cream, the caramel also tasted homemade. "I don't really like pecans, but it worked."- Amy
Cookies and cream: East Mill's cookies and cream was an excellent rendition of an old classic. "It had an excellent balance between icy and creamy." -Joey
While we thoroughly enjoyed our ice cream visit, there a few things we have to mention. Their spoons could have been of higher grade material, and more sturdy. One thing we also found strange was the fact that their ice creams were not titled.
To close this last post, we would like to thank each individual fan, but as there are far too many of you, we will just thank you all as one unit. So thank you.
Sending our love for ice cream,
Your local ice cream experts
